Technology QISTA
By simulating human presence, the mosquito trap attracts the female mosquito in search of prey and traps it inside the device.
The innovative Qista technology enables optimal efficiency in 3 steps:
- Dispersion of recycled carbon dioxide to mimic human breathing (attracts mosquitoes)
- Emission of olfactory lure to simulate human body odor (brings the mosquito closer to the target)
- Mosquito capture by aspiration
In order to preserve and protect biodiversity, only female mosquitoes near the protected areas are attracted to the Qista device.
Male mosquitoes and other insect species (bees, butterflies, ladybugs...) are not attracted to the trap and continue to play their role in their environment.
